The Job

• Maintain, enhance, and ensure the stability of the Core Banking System
• Troubleshoot bugs, incidents, and optimize system performance in both production and non-production environments
• Develop and improve backend (server-side) functionalities using C/C++ or C-based frameworks
• Perform database query tuning and manage Oracle SQL/PLSQL systems
• Participate in development of banking modules such as: Accounting (GL, reconciliation), Loan, Deposit, Card, FX, and Payment Channels
• Collaborate with project team, developers, and business stakeholders
• Support integration with external systems (payment gateway, eWallet, Napas, SBV, etc.)
• Write technical documentation (design docs, API specs, release notes)
• Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality standards
• Monitor systems, support production issues, and perform root cause analysis
• Submit weekly progress reports and incident reports

Your Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field 
• 3+ years of experience in backend development
• Strong experience with C/C++ (or C-based languages)
• Solid knowledge of Oracle SQL/PLSQL and database tuning
• Proficiency in building terminal/screen interfaces with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript 
• Experience working in Linux/Unix environments
• Experience in banking, finance, or fintech systems is highly preferred
• Familiarity with ISO8583, payment gateway protocols, or system integration is an advantage
• Understanding of banking domains (Loan, Deposit, Card, FX, Channel) is a plus
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks under pressure
• Good written communication skills in English
